This is the first of a four part series that we are doing themed "Regionalism In Hip Hop". We are going to go into the history of the four regions in Hip Hop (East Coast, West Cost, South, Midwest) and talk about their influences, trends, and distinct musical styles each have. This week we focus on the the Southern Hospitality of the South. We're going to go indepth about the beginnings of Southern Hip Hop, the present of it and what it holds for the future. Also we pay homage to three styles that were born or developed in the south: Crunk, Bounce, and Screw Music (not Chopped 'n' Screwed). So get ready for a quick history lesson and enjoy this week's playlist while you're at it.

Ep. 4 was almost the last for you two favorite podcasts hosts, but we settled our differences and focused on the Beef side of Hip Hop. Well Jane took the reigns with this show and she offered up a good one for you all.
